Twin wins by Dylan Swanepoel led the undefeated Amity boys swim team (now 3-0) to a 101-70 Southern Connecticut Conference victory over Sheehan Friday night at the Titans’ pool in Wallingford. Swanepoel’s victories came in the 200-yard freestyle (1 minute, 47.44 seconds) and the 500 free (4:49.34). Before going exhibition for the final two events of the meet, Amity had claimed first place in every event except diving and the 100 butterfly.

Jacob Laser, A.J. Pite, Brian Liang, and Jamie Huang opened the meet with a winning time of 1:47.13 in the 200 medley relay. Charlie Pite (200 individual medley–2:09.42), A.J. Pite (50 free—23.36), Sam Guerra (100 free—52.70), Liang (100 backstroke) along with Guerra, Matt Cucurello, Ben Bacal, and Charlie Pite (200 free relay—1:39.60) were the other Spartan winners.

Amity returns to action on Thursday, January 3rd when it hosts Lyman Hall in a 7:30 p.m. SCC meet at the Orange Community Center pool.
