A Woodbridge man surrendered himself at the Orange Police Department Jan. 2 at 1:21 p.m. after learning they had an arrest warrant against him.
According to the report, police obtained a warrant for Matthew Vallillo, 31, of 30 Dogwood Circle stemming from a burglary to a home on Wheeler’s Farm Road Oct. 21.
Officers reportedly recovered the stolen items and expect to make further arrests in this case.
Vallillo was charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny, third-degree criminal mischief, conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit third-degree criminal mischief.
He was released after posting $20,000 bond.
Officers responded to Stop & Shop, 259 Bull Hill Lane, in regards to a disturbance on Dec. 29 at 8:15 p.m.
Investigation relealed that Erica Hicks, 18, of 747 Boston Ave, Bridgeport, gone to the store looking to confront a store employee over a personal issue. Once she arrived at the store, she got into a physical altercation with a different person and police were called.
Hicks was charged with second-degree breach of peace and released on a promise to appear in court Jan. 14.
A second person, a juvenile, who cannot be named due to age restrictions also was charged with second-degree breach of peace and turned over to the custody of a family member.
Police responded to a complaint of an unwanted person at a home on Meetinghouse Circle Jan. 3 at 2:45 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers learned that Blaze Garbatini, 43, of 512 Meetinghouse Circle, had entered the home in violation of a restraining order. He was subsequently taken into custody and charged with the violation.
He was released after posting $10,000 bond for court later that day.
