That’s the top of my 4 foot fence over there.

If you haven’t been up all night and morning like me, you may be surprised when you realize that you can’t let your dog outside.

It took me a good 10 minutes to push my back door open through 2 feet of snow and then my dog literally disappeared when she stepped off the back porch.

I have a 4 foot snow drift level from the porch to the fence. It will take close to forever to just get out of the back yard, then I’ll have to deal with the driveway, front sidewalk etc. Of course before I can go anywhere I’ll have to clean off the car.

Throughout the wee small hours of the morning I’ve heard that there are cars stuck everywhere and first responders had a heck of a time getting to a few medical calls.

Lt. Paul Vance of the Ct State Police said there was 1 fatality in Prospect because first responders could not get to the victim in time.

My 2 foot tall dog standing on 2 feet of snow in front of my 4 foot fence.

Take it easy when you’re shoveling. Pace yourself and take a break in between. You’re not going anywhere anyway.

It’s 6 a.m., I’ve been up for 22 hours, I think I’ll take a break.

The snow is expected to be over by between 9 and 12 o’clock.
