Law abiding citizen, Max gets his 2013 license

Town Clerk Patrick O’Sullivan would like to remind all owners of dogs six months or older, that June is the renewal month for dog licenses.

Orange Police K-9, Maximus, 8, receives the #1 tag each year and he and his partner, Officer Mike Kosh look forward to seeing O’Sullivan at the Police Station when he presents it to them.

This may be Max’s last Orange #1 License, sadly our favorite furry cop is thinking of retiring before next year’s licenses come out.

The costs are as follows:

Spayed Female $ 8.00
Female $19.00
Neutered Male $ 8.00
Male $19.00

The procedure is to either stop in at the Town Hall, Town Clerks Office Monday through Friday, or you may mail to the Town Clerks Office, 617 Orange Center Road, Orange 06477 by enclosing:
Rabies vaccination certificate, Neutering/Spaying certificate and a Check payable to the Town Clerk along with a Self addressed stamped envelope; both certificates will be returned.

It is the responsibility of all dog owners to license their dogs in the month of June each year. Please note that after June 30th, there is a state mandated $1.00 per month penalty for unlicensed dogs.

If you have any questions, please contact O’Sullivan at (203) 891-4730
