You never know when you may need a life-saving blood transfusion. Accidents and illnesses happen all the time when we least expect them and it would be tragic if the hospital you were in was experiencing a blood shortage when you need it most.
The American Red Cross is hosting a blood drive this Monday, Sept. 30 at the Orange Congregational Church 205 Meetinghouse Lane, from 1 – 6 p.m.
Won’t you consider donating a pint? You could help save up to 3 lives.
In Order to donate you must be healthy — feel well and be able to perform normal activities.
If you have a chronic condition such as diabetes, healthy also means that you are being treated and the condition is under control.
You must be at least 17 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds.
Call today to make an appointment at 1-800-RED-CROSS.
