The Church of the Good Shepherd is proud to announce the receipt of a $500 community grant from Wal-Mart in support of its numerous community outreach programs, especially the Shepherd’s Table which feeds more than 100 area residents each week. “This grant is one of many exciting donations we have recently received from local businesses in support of our upcoming Gala on Saturday, Oct. 19, said The Reverend Ann Ritonia, Rector of the Church of the Good Shepherd, 680 Racebook Road, Orange.
“We are so grateful to our community and area businesses for the support they have extended to this year’s gala,” said Chairman Kathie Bellis of Woodbridge. “We look forward to hosting another fabulous event with the New York Dinner Theater on Saturday, Oct. 19 in the beautiful ballroom of Saint Barbara Greek Orthodox Church.”
Ballroom doors open at 6 p.m. Corsages and boutonnieres will be sold at the door. During the cocktail hour, guests will enjoy a Silent Auction, Chinese Auction, and Prom Portraits.
Tickets are available for $75 per person. Guests will enjoy the New York Dinner Theater’s hilarious audience participation comedy, “The Amazing 70s Prom.” The evening will begin with a Silent Auction and cocktail hour that will include unlimited beer, wine and soda, as well as a reasonably priced cash bar, including a signature 70s Tequila Sunrise Punch.
During intermission, there will be a Live Auction that includes Packer/Giant tickets; Red Sox Tickets; a Tag Hauer Watch; Steuben Glass Bowl; a week in a breathtaking cabin In Maine, and much more.
