We now offer a large selection of full-color, interactive digital magazines via Zinio, “the world’s largest newsstand.” Browse from your library’s collection of popular titles with no holds, no checkout periods, no fines, and no limit to the number of issues you can download. Cozy Mystery Author Lucy Burdette

Local author Roberta Isleib, aka Lucy Burdette, will discuss her 11th published mystery. Topped Chef is the third installment in Madison resident Isleib’s Key West food critic mystery series, featuring Hayley Snow, an aspiring food critic and amateur sleuth living in America’s southernmost island paradise. “Anyone who’s ever overpaid for a pretentious restaurant meal will relish this witty cozy,” according to Publisher’s Weekly. Presented by the Friends of the Library.
Cooking with John Bencivengo

John Bencivengo, Senior Chef at Chowder Pot III in Branford, returns to the library to delight us with a selection of his new and old favorite recipes. Attendees will sample all of the recipes featured and receive a copy of each recipe to take home! Reservations must be made in person at the Circulation Desk. Reservation tickets must be presented upon entering the program to gain admission. A $5 per person food charge will be collected upon reservation.
