According to the report, during a dispute investigation, officers learned that a group of people were traveling on I-95 near Orange when an argument ensured amongst the vehicle’s occupants.
The vehicle pulled off the highway onto Marsh Hill Road, where Mathew Hickman, 23, of 6 Paradise Ave., Hamden, forcibly removed one of the occupants from the vehicle. The vehicle then left the person stranded on Marsh Hill Road.
Investigation led to the discovery of a pellet gun, owned by Hickman, inside the motor vehicle.
Hickman was charged with possession of weapons in a motor vehicle, second-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree breach of peace.
He was held on $5,000 bond for court Nov. 4.
