BEST-POLICE-Patch-EVER-275x300On Oct. 18 at 9 a.m. Orange officers learned that a wanted person was appearing at the Derby Superior Court on an unrelated matter, and served an arrest warrant on him while he was there.

The warrant stemmed from an incident on July 26, when Joshua Gray, 28, of 151 Contact Dr, West Haven, allegedly broke into a vehicle and took a woman’s purse and wallet, then used her bank cards to make purchases afterward.

Investigation led to the identity of the arrestee, and an arrest warrant was obtained, which was then served while he was appearing in court.

Gray was charged with fifth-degree larceny, third-degree burglary, credit card theft and illegal use of a credit card.

Gray was held for arraignment.
