At 5:30 p.m., Meteorologist Kevin Arnone posted this forecast.
First call for the storm this weekend. The timing seems to be an early start Saturday morning as flurries 7-9 a.m., and then by 12 p.m. the whole state will be seeing steady snow. This will continue all day and into the night.
As warmer air moves in the shore may see some mixing around midnight or possibly even earlier. That will keep snow totals down.
This is all out of here by Sunday morning!
As far as snow totals, which are subject to change. Shore will most likely see something around 2-4 inches where inland in more in the 3-6 range.
NW CT may see 6+ depending about exactly how this thing wants to set up.
