Now Open and "So Worth It!"

Now Open and “So Worth It!”

The Redfish Grill, a seafood restaurant, opened last week at 285 Boston Post Road, and is receiving excellent reviews!

The new eatery is the talk of the town – and other towns too.

Wherever i go someone seems to be telling a friend how wonderful the food is, and raving about how the clam chowder is the best they’ve ever had away from Cape Cod.

This is the only seafood restaurant in town and something that Orange really needed.

One diner said it was a little pricey, but quickly followed that up with “But So Worth It!”

We welcome the Redfish Grill to town and wish them a long and successful stay.

Say Hello to Spyro, the owner and tell him you saw this on Orange Live the Website.

I would have to agree. We ate there last night [12/30]. I am excited to find a local place with great food, atmosphere and hospitality. I’m sharing an email that I am sending to friends and family.
Have to pass this along to you. Last night, spur of the moment, we went out with two other couples for dinner. They are local and suggested that we try the Redfish Grill. They just opened a week or two ago. It is the old Red River, Lushes, etc. across from Knight’s.

The “diner” is nicely decorated and furnished. The dining area is nicely laid out – not crowded, it has a nice bar that seats about 20 with a few tables in the area as well.

Well, we all shared one order of calamari for an appetizer and it was very good, nice and tender and not overly breaded, You may have to ask for bread, but it was the best I’ve had in a long, long time, small 6×6 loaves baked fresh, crispy thin crust with nice textured inside served with dipping oil with some spices. We had 5 different meals and everyone raved about them. I had the night’s special a Cajun seafood jambalaya, One had the seafood casserole, two ordered the grilled shrimp, one had the swordfish and the other the salmon. They claim to only serve fish that is fresh never frozen, to whit they didn’t have their “signature dish” of red fish last night. The portions were generous and for those they came with sides, there are some nice choices in addition to the standard fries and coleslaw. Desserts were ordered, two couples each shared an apple crisp a la mode, and another shared the fudge brownie sundae, both were fantastic.

Prices are reasonable, the wine and beer selection is good. We all had at least one drink, and a few glasses of wine were ordered. Service was good. We got there about 6:30 and didn’t leave until almost 9. The bill for food and beverages was about $210 +tx. Since we were a party of 6, they automatically added an 18% tip to the bill. We each paid our portion with credit cards,[they take them all] which came to $83.
