Little by little, the vacancy rate is shrinking as new businesses open. Four of the most recent new businesses are the Redfish Grill, 285 Boston Post Road, which took over the former Lushe’s Diner location; Smoothie King, 350 Boston Post Road, across the street from Fire Station #2, in the space previously occupied by a credit union; Popular Demand Barber Shop at 516 Boston Post Road next to Wild Acorns; and Cellini’s Jewelers, 464 Boston Post Road, in the same plaza as Prime 16.

As of December 31, the vacancy rate in Orange was as follows:

Popular DemandIndustrial, 1.94% vacancy rate; 47,768 sf available

Retail, 3.93% vacancy rate, 118,636 sf available

Office, 9.76% vacancy rate, 57,108 sf available

The town of Orange has a lot to offer, a small town feel, well traversed main roadway and wonderful people. If you have a business and are looking for a place to open shop, take a tour around Orange, your future location may now be available.
