During this afternoon’s Police Commission Meeting Police Chief Robert Gagne presented the department activity report from the month of January.
Among the items were four residential burglaries:
• On Thursday, Jan. 16 at 11:09 a.m., officers responded to an activated burglar alarm on Dogwood Road.
They found the rear window had been forced open, and investigation revealed that jewelry had been taken.
• Two weeks later, on Thursday, Jan. 30, a resident on Argyle Road reported that someone had entered their home sometime during the day and took jewelry.
• A K9 track led police to David Court where they discovered an unlocked slider door.
According to the report, jewelry had been taken.
• On Friday, Jan. 31 police responded to Turkey Hill Road at 9:42 a.m. where, it was revealed, someone had entered the home through a basement window and jewelry had been taken.
The Orange Police Investigative Services Unit is working on all of these cases.
