Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina to Najib and Carmen Matta, she also resided in Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, and Palestine. There she met and in 1945 married U.S. Army soldier Stuart D. Parker of Lowell, MA, who predeceased her.
Aida was multilingual, loved classical music, was a superb cook, and created many beautiful wall hangings and afghans for family and friends.
She is survived by her children Willard (Cheryl) Parker of West Haven, Vivian (Paul) Batterson of Tolland, and Stuart (Patricia) Parker of Stratford; her grandsons Colin Parker of Scranton, PA and Andrew Parker of Stratford; and several nieces and nephews.
At her request there are no services and burial will be private.
