Police Blotter Logo thx DavePatrol officers stopped a vehicle on the Boston Post Road after the driver reportedly disregarded a red light at 2:58 a.m. on April 1.

According to the report, during the stop, officers noticed marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.

The driver, Daniel Girdzis, 29, of 83 Edgefield Avenue, Milford, reportedly claimed ownership, and was cited with an infraction ticket. All drug items were seized.

Girdzis was cited for possession of less than 1.2 ounce of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to obey a traffic control signal.

Further investigation revealed that a passenger in the vehicle was carrying a variety of prescription pills not actually prescribed to her.

Police said the pills, which also were seized, were a combination of narcotic and other controlled substances.

Kimberly Cresiski, 33, of 945 New Haven Ave, Milford, was charged with possession of narcotics and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. 

She was released on a promise to appear in court April 11.
