Mrs. Sabo was born in Bridgeprt to the late Matej and Anna (Knapik) Fuks, and has been a long time area resident.
She was a former member of: Our Lady of Grace Ladies Guild, St. John Nepomucene Guild of Our Lady of Fatima, St. John Nepomucene Seniors, the Dresser Industries Seniors, and Dresser Industries Bowlers.
Survivors include her devoted children, Paul J. Sabo, Jr. and wife Theresa of Trumbull, Marie Sabo and dear friend W. Scott Fabri of Fairfield, a daughter-in law Dorothy Scarcella of Guilford, granddaughters, Christine and husband Paul Roy of Winsted, Linda and husband Jean Paul Cardichon of Hamden, Jennifer and husband Bryan Bowser of Orange, Elizabeth Sabo of Trumbull, great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Abigail, and Nathanial Bowser, and Gabriel Cardichon, sisters-in-law, Margaret Novinsky of Ansonia, and Margaret Allis of Stratford, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her beloved husband and parents, she was pre-deceased by her son, James M. Sabo, all of her siblings, among them her beloved sister, Agnes Yacashin, and brothers Michael Allis and Matthew Fuchs.
The family would like to thank VITAS and Comfort Keepers of Shelton for the compassion and care given to Margaret.
Friends may greet her family on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Monsignor Martin Ryan on Monday, April 7th at 11a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, 498 Second Hill Lane Stratford. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery Stratford.
