He was born July 21, 1917, in New Haven to the late George and Mary Covel Chadderton.
Mr. Chadderton enlisted December 8, 1941, in the United States Marine Corps First Division, serving two tours in the Guadalcanal. He worked as an electrician for Winchester Repeating Arms and was also the former owner of E & F Electric Co.
Frank was a member of the Hamden Elk’s and Meadow Brook Golf Association. He will be remembered for his love of family and passion for playing golf.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Irene (Terry) Richey of Wallingford, Adrienne Kane of Meriden, Brian Chadderton of Orange, Bart (Gerri) Chadderton of West Haven and Gary Chadderton of Hamden; a sister, Irene Meyer of Hamden; grandchildren Ryan, Keith, Garrett, Dylan, Brandon and Douglas; great-grandchildren Tyler, Gavin, Gianna, Allyson; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a brother, George, and sister, Evelyn Shanley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Infant Church, Orange. Interment will be private. Affordable Cremations of Milford is in charge of Arrangements.
