She was the beloved wife of the late Frank P. Virzi. She is survived by four sons, Joseph J. Virzi (Cynthia) of Oxford, Julius F. Virzi of Hamden, Frank D. Virzi and Charles P. Virzi of West Haven, a sister, Marie Sampieri (Robert) of Orange, five grandchildren, Kelly Virzi (fiancé Ross Rubino) of New Haven, Simone Virzi of Ansonia, Jocelyn Virzi of Waterbury, Frank Virzi and Thomas Virzi of West Haven and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, John Volto. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, April 13, from 2-5 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia.

On Monday, friends and relatives are invited to attend her funeral at 9:15 am from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Holy Infant Church in Orange.

Entombment will take place in Mt. St. Peter’s Garden Mausoleum in Derby.
