IMG_9121The Amity Spartans Boys Lacrosse team showed Jonathan Law how the game is supposed to be played on Tuesday afternoon in Woodbridge.

The Lawmen played hard, staying on top of their men throughout the game but scoring was a problem.

Amity outshot Law 19-10

Two Amity goalies took turns working the net: Evan Campbell made 3 saves and James Chapman had 1.

Law’s Goalkeeper Paul Johnson made 3 saves for the Lawmen.

Scoring

Amity: Kyle Sullivan 3 goals, 2 assists; Nick Mazzacco 2 goals; Steve Sember and Joe Choiniere 1 each had 1 goal and 1 assist; Jesse Cala 1 goal, 2 assists,
Ajay King,  Matt Attolino, Tyler Burns, Nick Coassin, Jake Cala, and Sean Grenier each made 1 goal. Bubba Pignataro had 2 assists.

Law: Tyler Cavallaro scored the solitary goal for the Lawmen with 2:39 left in the third quarter.

Amity                    6 – 3 – 5 – 0 = 14
Jonathan Law   0 – 0 – 1 – 0 =   1

The Spartans play Wilbur Cross-Career-Hyde on Friday, April 25 at 4 p.m.
