BEST-POLICE-Patch-EVER-275x300Officers received a complaint of a disturbance at a private residence on Ferry Road, May 2, at 9:47 p.m.

According to the report, officers learned that Clarence Freeman, 33, of 530 Ferry Road had been in the house of a disabled relative when he began waving handsaws around while intoxicated.

Police said Freeman then threatened to kill the officers who responded and spat at them.

He was subsequently taken into custody and charged with assault of a peace officer, second-degree threatening and disorderly conduct.

Freeman was held on $500 bond for court May 5.
