Adam Glassman (3rd from left) witnessed the signing of the Dyslexia Bill.

Turkey Hill School fourth-grader, Adam Glassman, was among the 12 students from across CT who testified in front of the Connecticut Education Committee in March to bring the Dyslexia bill to the floor of the House.

The Dyslexia Bill was raised by a grassroots movement called Decoding Dyslexia -CT.

The bill passed both the House and the Senate with one hundred percent support from the legislators.

Yesterday, the Dyslexia Bill was signed by Governor Malloy as the students watched at a special ceremony at Helen School in Hamden.
