IMG_9721Sebastian DiMauro was strong at the plate and on the mound in carrying Orange Post 127 to a 3-2 victory over Milford on Saturday at Ken walker field.

DiMauro boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace Orange Post 127. He singled in the third and fifth innings and doubled in the seventh inning.

DiMauro brought the heat against Milford during his outing. Milford managed just two hits off of the Orange Post 127’s pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his two innings of work.

DiMauro pushed Orange Post 127 ahead, in the seventh inning, and the lead lasted until the final out. After Josh Sabitsky singled, DiMauro came to the plate with zero outs in the seventh and doubled, scoring Sabitsky.

Kevin Johnson couldn’t get it done on the rubber for Milford, taking a loss. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed one run.

The bottom of the third saw Milford take an early lead, 1-0. Milford got things going when Cheech Gustino singled. R.J. Jackson singled, bringing homeJim Palmer.

Milford answered Orange Post 127’s top inning with one run of its own in the fourth. Milford scored on an RBI single by Sean Clark.
