IMG_5167Orange Post 127 didn’t provide Doug Rives with much support, but he didn’t need much. Rives pitched six strong innings to carry Orange Post 127 to a 1-0 win over Milford in seven innings on Sunday at Brinley Field.

Ian Zona ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just six innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed one run.

Orange Post 127 closer Sebastian DiMauro put away the final three outs to record the save.

In the fifth inning, Orange Post 127 pushed across its only run of the day on an error.
