Ouesterdick got the win for Barnstormers. He allowed two runs over 6 1/3 innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered seven hits.
Barnstormers was sparked by Bloise and Dempsey, who teamed up for six hits and four RBIs.
Zach Chamberlain ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed nine runs in six innings, walked one and struck out five.
Barnstormers stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the second, scoring two runs on a sacrifice fly by Rodriguez and an RBI single by Dempsey.
One run in the top of the third helped Orange Post 127 close its deficit to 2-1. A groundout by Kevin Nusdeo set off Orange Post 127 rally. Barnstormers stopped the rally after Ouesterdick got Mike Appel to ground out.
Barnstormers scored four runs of its own in the third. Barnstormers scored on an RBI double by Germain, an RBI single by Dempsey, and an RBI single by Hamel.
Barnstormers tacked on another three runs in the fifth. A single by Bloise ignited the offense,, bringing home Pearson. That was followed up by Dempsey’s triple, plating Bloise.
After pushing across one run in the top of the sixth, Orange Post 127 faced just a 8-2 deficit. An RBI single by Sebastian DiMauro gave Orange Post 127 life. The Orange Post 127 threat came to an end when Ouesterdick finally got to Chris Winkel.
