IMG_5626North Haven may have beaten Orange Post 127 5-4 when they visited Brinley Field Tuesday night, but Orange got its revenge by blanking their hosts 8-0 at DeMayo Field in North Haven Wednesday night.

During his four innings on the mound, Orange’s Doug Rives allowed only one hit and North Haven had no earned runs or walks and he struck out three.

Sebastian DiMauro pitched the first three innings and North Haven could not score off of him either.

North Haven’s pitcher Esposito had a rough day, allowing eight runs in seven innings, he walked four and struck out two.

The game was scoreless until the fifth inning, when Orange had four runs. DiMauro brought in Gerald Ferace and Josh Sabitsky with a double and Russo had a two-run single.

Sabitsky crossed home plate in the sixth inning, bringing the score to 5-0.

In the final inning DiMauro scored on Russo’s double, a line drive to left field. Then Russo scored on Chris Winkel’s double, a line drive to right field. Finally, Matt Ronai scored on a ground ball single.

With the win, Post 127 improved its record to 13-5.
