applebees-patriotic-veterans-dayAs part of its ongoing effort to thank our nation’s servicemen and women, Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar restaurants across the country, including 526 Boston Post Road, Orange, are inviting veterans and active duty military personnel to eat free on Veterans Day—Tuesday, November 11.

On Veterans Day only, service members with proof of United States military service can choose one free entrée from Applebee’s Veterans Day Menu:

  • 7 oz. House Sirloin
  • American Standard All-In Burger
  • Double Crunch Shrimp
  • Three-Cheese Chicken Penne
  • Fiesta Lime Chicken®
  • Chicken Tenders Platter
  • Oriental Chicken Salad

Guests will need to provide proof of service, which includes: U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement, Veterans Organization Card (i.e., American Legion, VFW), photograph in uniform or wearing uniform, DD214, Citation or Commendation.

Offer is valid for dine-in only. Traditional sides are included with free entrees; 2 for $20 appetizers, upgraded side items or extras, beverages, desserts and gratuity are not included. Applebee’s Thank You Meals will be offered during normal business hours onTuesday, Nov. 11. Hours vary by location, so guests should call their local Applebee’s restaurant in advance to inquire about specific location hours.

This year, Applebee’s will be thanking the military by serving approximately one million free meals to veterans and active duty military members on their day of remembrance and respect.

In addition to offering servicemembers a free meal, as part of its Veterans Day efforts, Applebee’s is also encouraging the community to visit www.thankyoumovement.com and post a message of appreciation for our nation’s heroes. Since creating the Thank You Movement in 2011, Applebee’s has received more than 6.7 million personal messages through the Thank You Movement website.
