On Tuesday, May 12, a 20-year-old Ansonia man surrendered himself at police headquarters at 6:47 a.m. after learning of a warrant for his arrest.
According to police, the warrant stemmed from an investigation into money missing from the former Radio Shack store, 90 Boston Post Road, where the man was employed.
A total of $2,803.83 reportedly was taken from the store.
The investigation led to the development of the arrestee as the suspect, and the warrant was obtained.
He was charged with third-degree larceny, second-degree identity theft and criminal impersonation.
He was held on $3800 bond for court later that day.
