“Queen Flash” a 6-member Queen tribute band from Montreal, Canada, will perform prior to the town’s Annual Independence Day Fireworks Spectacular. The band will feature Special Guest vocalist Phil Naro. The internationally renowned Naro, will lead the group with 2 hours of Queen’s greatest hits including, “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” “Another One Bites the Dust,” “Under Pressure,” and “We are the Champions.”

The event will take place on Saturday, July 2 (rain date Sunday, July 3) at the Orange Fairgrounds, 525 Orange Center Road.
The festivities will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. with welcoming comments from Orange First Selectman Jim Zeoli. The concert will be followed promptly at 9:30 p.m. by the Independence Day Fireworks Spectacular with Patriotic Music.
Event producer Rocky Salperto said, “We are looking forward to another premiere event for area residents to enjoy. We are excited about producing this show for the fifth consecutive year. As the crowds keep increasing year to year, (the 2015 event produced a record crowd of more than 8,000) we hope everyone continues to enjoy this great community event. Food vendors and novelty items will be available for purchase at the fairgrounds beginning at 6:00 pm. WPLR Radio will also be broadcasting live on location with a celebrity guest. Come early and get a good seat. Admission is free. There will be a suggested parking donation of $5 that will benefit the Orange Little League.
