Their first home game was against Shelton on April 5, which they won 6-3.

The Spartans broke Fairfield Prep’s 4 game winning streak in Fairfield, with a 3-2 victory on April 10.

Amity squashed Xavier at Palmer Field 12-4 on April 12.

Many of the players have been on the team through the last three state championship games, and if they make it all the way this year, they will graduate knowing they helped make history.
