Orange Youth Services has received funding that allows them to offer Orange High School seniors the opportunity to receive partial funding to assist them with college costs.

Youth Services has funding for two Orange senior students who can receive $500 each to help alleviate some of the cost of college tuition. The scholarships are for Orange senior students who have done well in the areas of academics and also extracurricular activities. The grant funding application form is very simple: a transcript copy of their High School grades and a list of any extra-curricular activities in which they may have participated.

Applications are available at the Community Services Office, 525 Orange Center Road, Monday through Friday 8:30-4:30. Completed applications may be dropped off at the Community Center or mailed to Orange Youth Services, Attn: John Ulatowski, High Plains Community Center, 525 Orange Center Rd. Orange Ct. 06477.

NOTE: All applications brought in or mailed must be received by the deadline of Friday, June 2.
