Orange police made a motor vehicle stop in front of 528 Boston Post Road on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 7: 51 p.m. for failure to display marker plates.

During the stop, officers learned that the driver, Brittany Tomling, 31, of New Haven was driving with a suspended license. Further investigation revealed that Tomling had an active hard copy warrant out of the City of New Haven and an active PRAWN warrant out of the Connecticut State Police.

She was taken into custody and charged with criminal impersonation and interfering with a police officer.

Tomling received a promise to appear in court on Oct. 18, and she was released to New Haven Police Department on an active outstanding warrant out of that city.
