It’s hard to believe, but it is almost time for the New Year’s Day Chilly Chili Run to benefit the Amity Teen Center.

The 22nd annual 5K Race and Fitness Walk, followed by a hot chili brunch, will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 1 at the High Plains Community Center in Orange.

Entry fees are $27.00 for the 5K Road Race, $15.00 for runners 12 and under, and $15.00 for those who want to register for the Fitness Walk.

There will be an Early Packet Pickup and Late Registration in person at the High Plains Community Center on Monday, December 31, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Day of Race registrations will begin at 7:30 a.m. in the gymnasium.

Teen Center President Jane Opper said, “This is the Amity Teen Center’s largest fundraiser of the year.  We are fortunate, once again, to have People’s United Bank as our Title Sponsor.  So, join us on January 1 to walk or run to celebrate the New Year and enjoy a hot chili brunch afterward.”
