Feel free to bring your favorite board game that you want to share or play one of the library’s board games. Snacks will be served. For tweens grades 4-6. Registration is required. Chess Club

Come join our chess club! This club is open to beginners and experienced players. During our meetings, children and tweens will be able to learn about this strategic board game and play against other club members. Feel free to bring your own chess board as the library has a small supply. For children and tweens in grades 1-6. Registration is required.

Lapsit Storytime with Liz McNicholl of Musical Folk
Tuesday, September 3, 10:30 a.m.
For babies and toddlers up to two years old.  Little ones and their caregivers are invited to a very special Lapsit session with Liz McNicholl of Wee Musical Folk.  We’ll use our voices, simple handheld instruments, and other props to learn through music.  Registration is not required and all materials will be provided.

Make & Take Workshop: Arashi Shibori
Saturday, September 7, 11 a.m.
Make and take your own indigo tote bag using the arashi, or pole wrapping, method of shibori, an ancient Japanese form of tie dye. Led by Librarian Rebecca Harlow. All supplies will be provided. Open to adults and high school students.
