The ASD Fitness Center, a specialized fitness facility designed for those with special needs, along with Project CASY (Community Autism Social at Yale) is hosting a Prom this Saturday, June 8, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
Since a typical prom is not always welcoming to all students, the ASD Fitness Center and Project CASY are creating an environment which will allow for a magical evening for everyone. Attendees will be able to show their moves on the dance floor, choose to bedazzle prom king or queen crowns and pose for photos.
Since guests may have different sensitivities based on their unique abilities, the lighting will be comfortable, the dance floor and music will be located in a separate room and there will be quiet areas in place for attendees to participate in crafts, a sensory touch station or just relax. There will be a range of activities all ages are welcome to attend.
The Prom will take place at the ASD Fitness Center, 307 Racebrook Road, Orange.
RSVP is Required. Call 203-553-9508 or visit email@example.com
