The Amity Music Department will host it’s first in a series of three Spring Concerts starting Thursday, April 26.  This concert will feature the talented students of the Amity High School Band and Jazz Band!

Some of the band highlights include Within These Hallowed Halls, a narrated selection honoring America, Pastime With Good Company, and an exciting piece of music entitled Rush by the composer Samuel Hazo.

The Jazz Band highlights include Take Five, Everybody Loves the Blues and more!

Director Phil Dolan and the musicians hope that you can help them usher in the Spring Season on April 26 at 7:00 p.m. in the John J. Brady Center for the Performing Arts at Amity High School!  This is a FREE concert!

The Amity High School Music Department presents Music In Motion Friday and Saturday nights.

This new concept incorporates ideas brought forward from the marching arts and moves them to the stage for an entertaining production of music, dance, and musical theater.  This production will feature musical performances of Wicked, Superstition, William Tell Overture and much more.

The Amity High School jazz ensemble, percussion ensemble, color guard and choir will be featured throughout the show.  It is sure to be an entertaining evening of music and movement unlike anything you have seen before.

Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the door, online at www.amityband.org, or by calling the Amity High School Box Office at (203) 392-2019.

Show dates are October 26th and 27th at 7:30 pm in the John J. Brady Center for the Performing Arts.
