The Lady Spartans Lacrosse team hosted the Mustangs from Fairfield Warde on Tuesday in Woodbridge.

Amity has not had the most stellar season, going into this game with three losses behind them (Southington 8-13, Shelton 2-14 and Hand 2-14).

The mustangs charged onto the field, winning most of the face-offs and effortlessly scored the first goal in less than 30 seconds, and the first six goals in 4 minutes and 15 seconds.

Goal number 7 flew into the net at 17:51. Warde really had to work for the next goal which came nearly five minutes later with 12:03 remaining in the first period.

And so it continued. The final score was 15-1, Warde.

Records: Amity 0-4, Warde 4-1

The season is young and the Lady Spartans have time to regroup and pull themselves together. We wish them luck.
