Police were dispatched to the Target Store, 25 Boston Post Road, on a shoplifting complaint Dec. 2 at 10:49 p.m.

During the investigation, officers learned that Robert Flanagan, 57, of 18 Davis St., New Haven, had selected a $649.99 television and left the store without attempting to pay for it.

Police found Flanagan attempting to drive away from the scene and took him into custody.

He was charged with fifth-degree larceny and held on $1,000 bond for court Dec. 3.

Police Blotter Logo thx DavePolice were dispatched to a private residence on Rogers Road, Oct. 8 at 5:56 p.m. in regards to an earlier disturbance.

Upon arrival, officers learned that Vicki Belotti, 50, of 143 Porter Lane had gotten into an argument with a juvenile family member, and that the argument turned physical, with Belotti allegedly striking the juvenile numerous times.

She was subsequently taken into custody and charged with third-degree assault.

Belotti was released on a promise to appear in court Oct. 9.

police carOn Sept. 18, officers patrolling Route 34 reportedly observed a vehicle weaving within its lane on the eastbound direction around 1:09 a.m.

Upon stopping the vehicle, officers administered standardized roadside sobriety tests on the driver, James Coubrough, 30, of 164 Daytona St. #3, West Haven.

After which Coubrough was taken into custody and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs (DUI), possession of marijuana and failure to drive in a proper lane. 

He was released after posting $50 bond for court Oct. 2.

Police Blotter Logo thx DaveOn Sept. 12 police were dispatched to a fine dining restaurant in the 300  block of the Boston Post Road on a complaint of a domestic disturbance at 11:14 p.m.

Investigation revealed that Courtney Suech, 23, of 14 Henry Albert Drive, Milford, had gotten into an argument with her boyfriend and that the argument turned physical.

Suech was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct.

She was released on a promise to appear in court Sept. 13.

Officers were dispatched to 517 Boston Post Road for a disturbance, July 18 at 12:27 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers learned that Marissa Ellis, 24, of 1070 Amity Road, Bethany had gotten into an argument with a family member inside the business, and that the argument turned physical.

Ellis was taken into custody and charged with third-degree assault and breach of peace.

She was released on a promise to appear in court later that day.

 Editor’s Note: The location in which Ellis decided to argue with her relative should not reflect negatively on the establishment.

Police Blotter Logo thx DavePatrol officers observed a vehicle driving erratically on the Boston Post Road and stopped he car on Indian River Road, July 5 at 2:49 a.m.

Officers had the driver, Amy Benedict, 23, of 34 Ridgehollow Road, West Haven, perform standardized roadside sobriety tests.

She was subsequently taken into custody and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs (DUI) and failure to maintain a proper lane.

She was released after posting a $50 bond for court July 19.

Police were dispatched to Marsh Hill Road on a report of a motor vehicle accident where one of the involved drivers left the scene at 7:53 p.m. on March 15.

Patrol officers were able to catch up with the evading vehicle, driven by Dakota Neumon, 18, of 228 Old Field Lane, Milford, a short distance away and administered standardized roadside sobriety tests.

Neumon was subsequently taken into custody and charged with driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol (DUI), and evading the scene of an accident.

She was released after posting $50 bond for court March 28.

Police were dispatched to a home on Mapledale Road on a disturbance complaint March 1 at 2 p.m.

According to the report, when officers arrived they learned that Murad Madatali Charania, 50, of 927 Mapledale Road, had gotten into an argument with a relative and that argument reportedly turned physical.

Charania was subsequently taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct.

He was released after posting $2,500 bond, for court March 11.

Drunken Driving

Patrol officers saw a car traveling in the wrong lane on Derby-Milford Road on Dec. 14 at 11:21 p.m.

According to the report, the officers stopped the car and had the driver, Robert Andrews, 43, of 10 Ludlow Drive, Milford, perform standardized roadside sobriety tests.

Andrews was taken into custody and charged with Driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol (DUI) and failure to drive in a proper lane.

He was released after posting $50 bond for court Jan. 2.
