He was born in Bridgeport and lived most of his life in the Bridgeport /Stratford area. “Big Nick” was truly larger than life and was a hardworking, well-liked person. He was currently employed by Manafort Bros and had worked in the construction field for most of his life. He was a member of Teamsters Local 191. Nick started out working for his family business, Anthony’s Auto Body, and had also worked for various other auto body shops in the area.
Nick is survived by his sisters; Debra Cormier and Joann Kozel and her husband Andrej of Stratford, Donna Eyrich and husband John of Danbury and Kathryn Bruder and husband Matthew of Orange, his brothers; Christopher DeBiase of Seymour, Jeffrey DeBiase and wife Wendy of Maine and Stephan DeBiase of Stratford, his stepmother, Sonya DeBiase, his sister-in-law, Barbara DeBiase, and many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Anthony DeBiase, Jr., his mother, Barbara DeBiase, his brothers; Anthony “Hotsie” DeBiase, III, Randolph DeBiase, Sr., infant brother, Joseph DeBiase, and brother-in-law, Michael Cormier, Sr.
Friends may call on Friday, July 27, from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Ave., Bridgeport. A Service will take place at 5 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Norman Guilbert officiating. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donation be made directly to the family. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
