The Orange Chamber of Commerce will host its annual holiday celebration and raffle, “A Taste of the Holidays”at the Grassy Hill Country Club, 441 Clark Lane, on Saturday, Dec. 15 with entertainment by the Bernadettes.

The evening, sponsored by Orange Life Magazine, Orange Town News and TriCity Heating & Cooling, includes passed hors d’oeuvres, a mashed potato bar, an antipasto table, a carving station and a complimentary beverage.
This year the Chamber is raffling off an LG 55”, 3D, Smart TV from PC Richard’s, Diamond earrings, ½ carat total weight from Diamond Designs, and an iPad 2, 16GB. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased now and at the event from the Chamber.
The drawing will take place at Grassy Hill Country Cub at 8 p.m. during the celebration.
The Orange Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual “The 2012 Candidate Debate” on Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at the Grassy Hill Country Club. Registration and breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m. immediately followed by the “State Senate/Representative” debate.
Candidates invited to participate in the debate-style forum are: 14th District Senatorial candidates Gayle Slossberg (D) and Mike DeGrego (R); 114th District State Representative candidates Themis Klarides (R) and Aldon Hynes (D); and 117th District State Representatives Paul Davis (D) running unopposed and 119th District State Representative candidates James Maroney (D) and Pam Staneski (R). The debate will be moderated by members of the Orange Chamber Legislative Action Committee.

The event is sponsored by the Chamber Insurance Trust (CIT) and will be broadcast by “Orange Government Access Television” (OGAT). Local media are invited to attend and cover the event.

Orange Resident Christopher Lyle, owner of Christopher Lyle & Associates announces the grand opening of his new office at 380 Boston Post Road, Suite 4, which shares a common driveway with Planet Fitness and is located across the road from Bear and Grill Restaurant.
Lyle has run his insurance business in Derby for 17 years, with the motto, “Let us do the insurance shopping for you.”
