Chief Gagne addresses the new officers

On Friday, April 28, the Orange Police Department held a ceremony to swear-in to service its two newest officers, Brent Crawford and Christopher Ogrinc.

Both officers graduated from the Milford Police Academy on Thursday, where they were recognized for their exceptional firearms ability.

Officer Crawford is a graduate of the University of New Haven. As part of the ceremony, his father Gary, a retired sergeant with the Connecticut State Police pinned him with his badge.

Officer Ogrinc is a graduate of Housatonic Community College. His mother, Carol, a lieutenant with the New Canaan Police Department, pinned him.
