The annual Tip-A-Cop fundraising event will take place at Chip’s Family Restaurant, 321 Boston Post Road on Friday, June 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Orange police officers will serve your meal and work hard to collect a great tip.
All tips collected and money donated during this event will go directly to Special Olympics Connecticut to support the athletes and raise awareness about individuals with intellectual disabilities.
On Friday, Oct. 7, the Orange Police welcome you to join them at Chip’s Family Restaurant, 321 Boston Post Road, for Coffee With a Cop, where you can meet the police officers who work in your community from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m.
Talk about anything you’d like, and get to know these fine men and women who dedicate their lives to keeping you and your family safe every day.
The fourth annual Pancakes for Parkinson’s fundraising supper will take place at Chip’s Family Restaurant, 321 Boston Post Road, on Tuesday, April 28, with four seatings for dinners: 4:30, 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30 p.m.
Supper includes two pancakes, two eggs, bacon or sausage, and coffee or tea, all for $12.
Tickets may be pre-ordered or purchased at the door.
Proceeds will benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research to help find a cure for the millions suffering from Parkinson’s Disease. Chip’s is donating all the food for the meal.
Raffle tickets will be sold for prizes including an Ipad, gourmet baskets, wine and more.

Both the 5:30 and 6:30 seatings were well attended and everyone seemed to have a nice time and enjoyed their breakfast for dinner.
Proceeds from the evening went to the Orange Volunteer Fire Department for equipment and other expenses.

The Orange Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary will host its 6th annual Pancake Supper at Chip’s Restaurant, 321 Boston Post Rd., Orange on Wednesday, March 4, with two seatings. There will be an early seating at 5:30 p.m. and late seating at 6:30 p.m.
The special menu includes Pancakes, Eggs, choice of Bacon or Sausage and a beverage.
Cost is $10 for Adults, $5 Children 10 and under. Tickets must be purchased in advance as a limited number of seats are available.
Tickets may be purchased from any Auxiliary member or at Knight’s Inc. 286 Boston Post Rd. Orange.
All proceeds benefit the Orange Volunteer Fire Department.

Support the team as they will be traveling to Orlando in January to compete in the National Dance Team Championships.
Tickets are $10.00 and will be on sale during all lunch waves on Monday.
The girls, under the leadership of Kendra Luth practice about 6 days per week and their routines are getting more complex as the year goes on.

The Orange American Legion Post 127 needs a new furnace, so it is teaming up with Chip’s Family Restaurant, 321 Boston Post Road, for a fund-raising Breakfast for Dinner event, Monday, Oct. 8.
Tickets are only $10 and menu includes 3 of Chip’s famous buttermilk pancakes, 2 eggs, sausage or bacon and coffee or tea.
There will be three seatings: 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.
