Every summer right after the Amity Baseball season wraps up, Legion ball begins.
In past years we’ve had some really recognizable names grace Brinley Field at Old Tavern Park. Vinny Sienna, Chris and Pat Winkel, Teddy and Andy Hague, Mike and Tyler Appel, Brian and Matt Ronai, Max Scheps, Ben Lodewick, Eli Oliphant, Teddy Ballou, Jack Nolan, Liam Butler, Keith Klebart, Mike Concato, Mark Boland, and so many more.

Note: all of the players are either currently attending Amity or have graduated from the region 5 system except for Minore, who just graduated from Notre Dame Fairfield.
Orange Post 127 is now 6-2 for the season.
On June 17, New Haven once again forfeited to Orange (at Brinley Field).
On June 21, Orange won a doubleheader against West Haven at Brinley Field: 3-1 at 5:45 p.m. and 6-1 at the 8 p.m. game.
On June 23, Orange was on the road in Hamden against Post 88, where they had their first loss of the season. Hamden won 5-3.
Post 127 hosted Hamden for a doubleheader at Brinley Field in Orange on Sunday, June 24. Orange won the first game 5-3, but Hamden came back and won the second game by a close 3-2.
Orange is back on the road on Friday, June 29 at Piurek Field in West Haven for another game against Post 71 at 5:30 p.m. (Don’t forget to bring your bug spray, at this hour the gnats are brutal)
