On the heels of international artists Sirena Huang and Claudio Suzin Rodriguez, The Suzuki Music School’s ‘Pillow Concert’ series continue with a performance by it’s Orange campus’s ‘Suzuki All-Stars,’ on Sunday, Dec. 10, from 3 – 4 p.m.
The ‘All-Stars’ will be performing (violin, viola, cello, and flute) at the Library at St Barbara’s, 480 Racebrook Road, Orange.
‘Pillow Concerts’ are short concerts suitable for the whole family, and children are encouraged to bring a pillow and sit close to the performers.

Hundreds of synagogues across the continent will take part in an historic national Jewish event to celebrate what unifies all Jews — Shabbat! Everyone is invited… singles, couples, families — all ages.

That’s the magic of Shabbat Across America and Shabbat Across Canada. By participating in this continent wide event, you will not only have the opportunity to experience Shabbat, but you will be sharing your experience with tens of thousands of Jews across North America.

Siddur presentation at 7 p.m. Service.

Celebrate Earth Day at the SmartLiving Center, 297 Boston Post Road, Saturday, April 20, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

A full day of exhibits, shows and fun activities are planned for kids of all ages. The Orange Volunteer Fire Department will have its rescue truck there from 12 – 3; Lushe’s Diner will have free samples of their famous homemade donuts; and the Orange Recycling Committee will be on hand to show how easy and important it is to recycle. Much, much more will be going on throughout the day – check out the flyer for a listing of some of the exciting activities and programs planned for Earth Day 2013. Free Admission.
