According to reports, a driver was killed after he lost control of his vehicle and hit a tree on the Parkway in Woodbridge (about a mile before the tunnel).
Friends and co-workers of Sam Seeley, the Orange resident who was involved in a serious motorcycle accident with his wife in Shelton on Saturday night, told Orange Live that Sam’s wife Ramona was removed from life support on Tuesday afternoon and passed away.
They said Sam is unaware of this as he underwent another operation on Tuesday and is still asleep.

Shelton Police, fire and EMS were dispatched to the intersection of River Road and Murphy’s Lane for a reported motor vehicle vs motorcycle accident on Saturday Sept. 7, at 9 p.m.
According to the report, investigation revealed that a motorcycle with a passenger was traveling south on River Road when it collided with a Dodge minivan that was traveling onto River Road from Murphy’s Lane.
The driver of the motorcycle, 55-year-old Samuel Seeley of Orange, was taken to the hospital with serious non-life threatening injuries. Ramona Seeley, 54, a passenger on the motorcycle, also was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

This Department was advised by the Connecticut Medical Examiners Office that the operator involved in yesterday’s serious injury motor vehicle accident has succumbed to the injuries he sustained.
The operator, Michael O’Brien, 57, of West Haven was traveling north on Marsh Hill Rd when his pick-up truck left the roadway, rolled over, and came to rest against a utility pole. The accident is still under investigation.
