Get Your Flu Shot!

We are experiencing an early flu season, and if you haven’t gotten a flu shot yet, don’t delay any longer.

The state Department of Public Health said Thursday that flu activity across the state continues to be widespread with 1,676 confirmed cases. Not even halfway through January 2013, the state has already surpassed last season’s total of 1,083 cases.

According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) H3N2 is the dominant flu strain this year and it causes much more serious illness often leading to hospitalization and even death.

The Urgent Care Center, 109 Boston Post Road, Orange is open till 6pm on weekends and 8pm during the week.

Come in and get your flu shot before you get the flu.

The Center is open seven days a week: Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
