The Orange Lions Club hosted its 29th annual Thanksgiving Dinner at High Plains Community Center on Sunday, November 26.

For the 21st consecutive year, Lions Harold Cavallaro and Ann Carollo co-chaired the event.

In addition to the 150 guests, the Orange Lions provided a full Thanksgiving meal to several of its members and Boy Scouts from Troop 925 who were there to help.

Girl Scouts, from Daisies to Cadets provided beautifully decorated placemats for each guest.

As always Selectman Mitch Goldblatt assisted in serving with a smile and Vinnie Carr volunteered his time and talent to entertain everyone in attendance.

The biggest decision anyone had to make was which variety of pie to choose. Instead of all time favorites Apple and Pumpkin, guests had a mind-boggling choice of blueberry, French apple, apple crumb, peach, pumpkin, mince, cherry, strawberry rhubarb and coconut custard. Yet, it went much better than expected, no one complained that their favorite wasn’t offered and everyone left with a full tummy.

Thank You Orange Lions for offering this wonderful event every year.
