Community Services is looking for local businesses and service providers for the 18th Annual Orange Senior Health and Safety Fair on Friday, September 27, 2019, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the High Plains Community Center Gym, 525 Orange Center Road, Orange.

Early bird registration by August 5, 2019, is $85, after that, the fee is $90 a table for businesses and free to nonprofit providers with a 501(c)3 designation.  Final registration is due by September 13.  The event is free to the public. 

All proceeds from this event will go to the Community Assistance Fund.  All of our programs, activities, events, and offerings are self-generated solely from fees and donations.

Community Services is looking for local businesses and service providers for the 16th Annual Orange Senior Health and Safety Fair.

The event will take place at the High Plains Community Center Gym, 525 Orange Center Road, Friday, September 15, from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Registration is $85 a table for businesses and free to nonprofit providers with a 501(c)3 designation. 

The event is free to the public.

The Orange Senior Center will host its 15th Annual Health and Safety Fair at the High Plains Community Center on Friday, Sept. 16 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon.

Vendors representing all sorts of agencies will be on hand to give out information about products and services that benefit older adults. The Parish Nurses of Griffin Hospital will be on hand.

The Yale New Haven Mammography van is scheduled to attend. Call 203-688-1010 for an appointment.

The Orange VNA will offer blood pressure screenings.

There will be raffle prizes and refreshments.

Sponsored by Coldwell Banker, Orange Visiting Nurses Association, Maplewood of Orange and the Orange Senior Center.

On Friday, Sept. 28, the High Plains Community Center will be abuzz with activity with dozens of vendors at the annual Orange Senior Health and Safety Fair from 9:30 a.m. to noon.

The Orange VNA will provide blood pressure screenings, the Orange Lions Club has arranged for vision screenings and the Parish Nurses of Griffin Hospital will offer osteoporosis screenings, breast wellness and medication management.

Representatives from the Orange Police Department and Fire Marshal’s office along with others from insurance companies, adult day care centers, housing options, banking services and municipal services in town will offer information about services and products that benefit older adults.

The first 200 guests to register that day will receive a free lunch. There also will be refreshments and raffle prizes.

This Fair is sponsored by the Orange Visiting Nurses Association, Orange Community Services, the Law Offices of Cohen & Wolf, Lend-A-Hand, and Coldwell Banker.
