There’s no school today due to the first “real” winter storm we’ve seen all season.

Temperatures are already above freezing and will warm to the upper 30s up to 40 today. Then a blast of cold air will be with us for quite a while.

The National Weather Service calls for another 2-3 inches before the snow ends around 7 a.m.

If you must go out, give yourself plenty of time to clean off your vehicle completely before you leave.

The UI company is reporting 21 Orange customers without power at 5:30 a.m. due to 3 incidents in town.

Road crews have been working tirelessly trying to make the roads safe for you.

A fallen tree closed Route 15 in Stratford between exits 52 and 53. The right lane is closed but at least one lane is open now (as of 5:21 a.m.).

Mi Sun didn’t want to leave the back porch this morning.

 

Remember, if you have a fire hydrant in front of your property, shovel around it so the fire department will have easy access in the event of an emergency.

If you have a pet, take a moment to wipe the snow off his or her feet when coming back into the house.
