At the March 9 Police Commission Meeting, Asst. Chief Anthony Cuozzo announced that two commercial burglaries were reported in February.
On Feb. 1 at 4:59 a.m., Officers responded to Lowe’s, 50 Boston Post Road, for an activated alarm.
According to the report, officers observed that the front doors had been pried open and that merchandise inside the vestibule appeared to have been ‘staged’ for theft by the perpetrator.
Security video showed a single perpetrator at the time of the incident, but that person left the scene prior to officers’ arrival.
Officers responded to KTM Electric, 374 Boston Post Road, regarding a past-tense burglary complaint on Feb. 9 at 7:27 a.m.
During the investigation, officers learned that the perpetrator(s) had forcibly entered the warehouse and the trucks parked in the lot.
Employees indicated that a 5,000 foot spool of copper wire and a saw were missing, but were unsure of what else may have been taken.
