Officers responded to a private residence on Country Lane in regards to a threatening complaint on Dec. 9 at 11:15 p.m.

During the investigation, officers learned that Kurt Menosky, 28, of Milford had made dozens of phone calls and sent text messages to the resident at Country Lane, and during at least one of those calls threatened to kill the complainant.

Officers located Menosky at his residence in Milford, where he was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct and second-degree threatening.

He was released after posting $100 bond for court on Dec. 20.

thJoseph Carl Chipello, 81, of Milford, beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Connor Chipello, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Bridgeport Manor.

He was born in Milford April 26, 1932 to the late Anthony & Sadie Gardino Chipello.

He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Joseph was a Professional Boxer and also worked for Secondi Brothers for several years. He was a member of the Milford Elks.

Joseph is survived by his sons Joseph Anthony Chipello and his wife Bridget of Orange, Thomas Jason Chipello and his wife Stephanie of Milford and John Michael Chipello of Southington, brothers, James and Anthony Chipello of Milford, a sister Mary Chipello of Florida, grandchildren Bridget and Brianna Chipello.

In addition to his wife, he is predeceased by a son Jerry Allan Chipello, brothers Samuel (Tootie), Paul (Spach),Carl Chipello and sister Carmela (Minnie) Rotella.

Wake will be held Sunday July 7, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St., Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Monday at 10:30 am in St Mary’s Church, Milford. Interment will be private.
